Psalm 70

To David the psalm of the sons of Jonadab and the first captives is not written in Hebrew.
1 In thee, O Lord, have I put my trust; let me not be put to shame for ever. 2 In your righteousness deliver me and heal me; incline your ear to me and save me. 3 Believe in a God of protection, and in a strong place to save me, for you are my strength and my refuge. 4 My God, deliver me out of the hand of a sinner, out of the hand of one who transgresses the law and does wrong; 5 For you are my patience, O Lord, O Lord, my hope from my youth. 6 They are established in you from the womb, from the womb of my mother You are my patron saint: I will take out my song about You. 7 You have been a miracle to many, and you are my strong helper. 8 Let my mouth be filled with praise, for I will sing of your glory, and of your splendor all the day long. 9 Don’t reject me in the time of old age, when my fortress is always impoverished, do not leave me. 10 For my enemies have decided against me, and those who guard my soul have consulted together, 11 saying, ” God has forsaken eating it, marry it and give it to them, for you do not deliver it.” 12 O my God, do not depart from me; O my God, listen to my help. 13 Let those who slander my soul be put to shame and disappear; let those who seek evil for me put on blood and shame. 14 But I will always put my trust in you and give you all praise Yours. 15 My mouth will proclaim your righteousness; all the day long your salvation will be revealed, for there is no bookish shame. 16 I will enter into the power of the LORD, O LORD; I will remember your only righteousness. 17 My God, in these things hast thou taught me from my youth, and even to this day will I proclaim thy wonders; 18 And even to old age and old age, O my God, forsake me not, until I proclaim thy arm to all generations to come; 19 Thy power and thy righteousness, O God, even to the highest, which thou hast made me great. God, who is like You? 20 For thou hast revealed to me many sorrows and evil things, and hast quickened me again, and hast raised me up from the depths of the earth. 21 You have increased your majesty in me, and you have comforted me again, and you have lifted me up from the depths of the earth. 22 For we will make ourselves known to you in the people, O Lord; in the vessels of psalms I will sing your truth, O God, to you in the harp, O Holy One of Israel. 23 My mouth will rejoice when I sing to you, and my soul, which you have delivered. 24 Yet my tongue will learn your righteousness all the day long, when those who seek my evil will be ashamed and put to shame.

Psalm 71

On Solomon, a psalm to David.
1 O God, grant thy king’s judgment, and thy righteousness To the king’s son: 2 Judge your people in righteousness, and your poor in judgment. 3 Let the mountains receive the peace of men, and let the hills receive righteousness. 4 He judges the poor of men, and saves the children of the poor, and humbles the slanderer. 5 And he will be with the sun, and before the moon, from generation to generation. 6 It will fall like rain on the fleece, and like a drop that falls on the earth. 7 His righteousness and the multitude of the world will shine forth in his day, until the moon is taken away. 8 And it is from sea to sea, and from rivers to the ends of the world. 9 The Ethiopians will fall down before him, and his enemies will lick their dust. 10 The kings of Tarshish and the islands will bring gifts, the kings of Arav and Sheba will bring gifts: 11 And all the kings of the earth will worship him, and all the Gentiles will serve him. 12 For deliver the poor from the strong, and the wretched, who have no helper. 13 He will spare the poor and the wretched, and save the souls of the wretched: 14 He will deliver their souls from usury and from unrighteousness, and his name is honorable before them. 15 And he shall live, and it shall be given him of the gold of Arabia; and they shall pray to the lord for him, and bless him all the day long. 16 The land will be established on the top of the mountains; its fruit will be exalted above Lebanon; and the hail will flourish like the grass of the earth. 17 His name shall be blessed for ever, and his name shall abide before the sun; and all the tribes of the earth shall be blessed in him, and all the Gentiles shall rejoice in him. 18 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who only works wonders. 19 And blessed be the name of his glory for ever and ever, and all the earth shall be filled with his glory.

Psalm 72

Psalm to Asaph.
1 If the God of Israel is good, be upright in heart. 2 But my feet will not be moved a little, and my feet will not be shed a little. 3 As we are jealous of the wicked, the world of sinners is in vain. 4 As there is no resurrection in their death, and no confirmation in their wound, 5 in the labors of men they are not, and with men they will not receive wounds. 6 For this reason I have restrained their pride to the end: I have clothed myself with unrighteousness and wickedness. 7 Their unrighteousness will come out of the fatness, and it will turn into the love of the heart. 8 Thou hast thought and spoken wickedly; thou hast spoken falsely on high. 9 Thou shalt set thy mouth in heaven, and their tongue shall pass over the earth. 10 For this reason my seven people will turn, and the days of fulfillment will be found in them. 11 And he said, What has God led away? And if there is a mind in the Highest? 12 Behold, these are sinners and gobblers for ever, holding back riches. 13 And he said, The food of them that have justified my heart in vain, and have died in my innocent hands; 14 And I have been sore all day, and my reproof in the morning. 15 If we speak, let us say this: Behold the family of thy sons, whom thou hast promised, 16 and let us not understand: this work is before me, 17 Until I enter into the sanctuary of God, and understand in their eyes. 19 How would it be desolate? I will suddenly vanish, perish for my iniquity. 20 For when thou risest, O Lord, in thy city, despise their image. 21 For my heart is kindled, and my bowels are changed. 22 And I am despised and do not understand; I am a beast to you. 23 And I will go out with thee; thou hast withheld my right hand; 24 And thou hast guided me in thy counsel, and hast received me with glory. 25 For what is there in heaven? And from You that vozvotekh on earth? 26 Perish my heart and my flesh, O God of my heart, and my portion, O God, for ever. 27 For, behold, they that depart from thee shall perish: thou hast consumed every whoremonger from thee. 28 But it is good for me to cling to the Gods, to put my trust in the Lord, and to proclaim to me all your praises in our daughter Zion.

Psalm 73

The mind of Asafu.
1 What, O God, hast thou rejected to the end? Is thy wrath angry with the sheep of thy pasture? 2 Remember thy company, which thou hast made corrupt, and hast redeemed with the rod of thy inheritance, O mount Zion, in which thou hast dwelt. 3 Raise up your hands against their pride in the end, for the evil enemy is in your holy place. 4 And they that hate thee glorified themselves in the midst of thy feast, and laid down their signs, signs, and did not know them; 5 For they were exalted in the exodus, and the trees of the oak were cut down with axes. 6 Its doors together: sechivom and oskordom razrushisha and. 7 You will burn your sanctuary with fire; you will defile the tabernacle of your name in the land. 8 I have decided in my heart their little ones together: Come, and let us set aside all the feasts of God from the earth. 9 Their signs are not seen: there is no prophet for them, and they do not know us. 10 How long, O God, does the enemy revile you? Will a nasty name annoy You to the end? 11 Wherefore shalt thou turn away thine hand and thy right hand from the midst of thy bosom to the end? 12 But God our king made salvation in the midst of the earth before the end of time. 13 You have strengthened the sea with your power; you have erased the heads of the serpents in the water; 14 You have broken the head of the serpent; you have given it to Brasenach to the people of Ethiopia. 15 You have broken up the springs and streams; You have dried up the rivers of Ithama. 16 Thine is the day, and thine is the night: Thou hast made the dawn and the sun. 17 Thou hast made all the ends of the earth; I have made the harvest and the spring. 18 Remember this, and blaspheme the LORD, and the people of folly will provoke your name to anger. 19 Do not betray to the beast the soul that confesses to you, and do not completely forget your poor souls. 20 Consider your covenant, for the darkened lands of the houses of iniquity are filled. 21 Let not the humble return, put to shame; let the poor and wretched praise your name. 22 Arise, O God, and judge thy righteousness; remember thy reproach, which is from the madman all the day long. 23 Do not forget the voice of your prayer book; I will lift up the pride of those who hate you.
Glory:

Psalm 74

1 At the end, let you not corrupt, a psalm of the song of Asaph.
2 We will try you, O God, we will try you, and we will call on your name; we will remember all your wonders. 3 When I have found the time, I will speak uprightly. 4 RastaI am the earth and all who dwell on it, and I have established its pillars. 5 Reh to the wicked, do not be wicked; and to those who sin, do not lift up your horns; 6 Do not lift up your horns on high, and do not speak unrighteousness against God: 7 As below from exodus, below from the west, below from the empty mountains. 8 For God is the Judge: this one he humbles, and this one he exalts. 9 Like a cup in the hand O ye Lords, the wine is not dissolved, fill it with dissolution, and turn away from this seed into this: let not His bounty be exhausted, but all the sinners of the earth will drink. 10 But if I rejoice forever, I will sing to the God of Jacob: 11 And I will break all the horns of sinners, and the horn of the righteous will be lifted up.

Psalm 75

1 At the end, in song, a psalm to Asaph, a song to the Assyrian.
2 God is known in Judah: his name is great in Israel. 3 And his place was in peace, and his habitation was in Zion. 4 There destroy the fortresses of bows, weapons and sword and battle. 5 You enlighten me wonderfully from the eternal mountains. 6 All fools have been crushed in their hearts: they have fallen asleep in their sleep, and all men have found riches in their hands for nothing. 7 Because of your rebuke, O God of Jacob, you will raise up all men on their horses. 8 You are terrible, and who can resist you? Ottole Your anger. 9 Thou didst hear judgment from heaven: the earth was afraid, and kept silent, 10 Always to rise up to the judgment of God, to save all the meekness of the earth. 11 For the thought of men shall be tried unto thee: and the remnant of thought shall celebrate thee. 12 Pray, and render thanks unto the LORD our God. 13 To him who is terrible and takes away the spirits of princes, to him who is more terrible than the kings of the earth.

Psalm 76

1 At the end, on Jeduthum, a psalm to Asaph.
2 I have cried to the LORD with my voice, and with my voice to God, and they have listened. 3 In the day of my God’s affliction, I will seek out my God’s hand, and I will spend the night before him, and sin will not be deceived. Rejected, my soul will be comforted. 4 I have remembered God and rejoiced, my spirit is mocked and faint-hearted. 5 My eyes are watchful before me: I am troubled and do not speak. 6 I have thought of the first days, and I have remembered eternal summers, and I have learned: 7 I have mocked my heart at night, and my spirit has grieved: 8 What will the LORD reject forever, and will not be pleased with me? 9 Or will he cut off his mercy to the end, passing away the verb from generation to generation? 10 What will God forget to eat? Or will He withhold His bounty in His wrath? 11 And reh: Now is the beginning, this treason of the right hand of the most high. 12 Commemoration of the case 13 And I will learn in all your works, and I will be mocked in your undertakings. 14 O God, thy way is holy: who is the great God, as our God? 15 Thou art God works miracles: 16 You have delivered with your arm your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. 17 I have seen the waters, O God, I have seen the waters, and I am afraid: 18 the multitude of the noise of the waters, the voice of Dasha the cloud, for your arrows pass away. 19 The voice of your thunder is in the wheels; your lightning has lightened the world; the earth has moved and trembled. 20 In mori putiya Your paths are in many waters, and your footsteps are not known. 21 Thou didst instruct like sheep thy people by the hand of Mosesoboe and Aaron.
Glory:
According to the 10th Kathisma, the Trisagion according to Our Father: The same troparia, voice 6:
On the dreadful day of Thy coming I am terrified, O Christ , and fear the inexhaustible judgment seat, O Lord; I am terrified and tremble, for they have had many sins, but before the end, for God is Merciful, turn and save me, O my Saviour, Who is Most Merciful.
Glory: When thrones are set up for judgment, O Lord , and men stand before Your judgment seat : the king will not prefer a warrior, the lord will not prefer a servant: for every man will either be glorified or ashamed of his deeds.
And now: Great gifts, O pure Virgin of the Mother of God , hast thou been vouchsafed, for thou hast borne in the flesh of the One of the Trinity, Christ Life-giver , / for the salvation of our souls.
Lord, have mercy (40) and the prayer:
O Lord our God, who is rich in mercy and incomprehensible in bounty, who is one by nature without sin, and who was a man apart from sin for our sake, hear this painful prayer of mine at this hour, for I am poor and wretched from good works, and my heart is troubled within me. For you weigh, O Most High King, O Lord of heaven and earth, for you have spent all my youth in sinning and following the lusts of my flesh, for you have walked all the laughter of a demon, for you have followed all the devil, for you have taken out all the sweetmeats, for you have been washed by the thought of Your youth, even to this day, but the whole of my slanderous passions captivated me, laughter and mockery of the demon was not in any way in the mind of pondering, as unbearable anger hedgehog on sinners of Your reproach, and lying gehenna of fire. As if everywhere in despairI’m not a hollow man, and I don’t have any sense of conversion, but I’m empty and naked even from Your friendship. Kiy bo the kind of sin you didn’t commit? Why isn’t the demon’s business about deeds? What is the deed of the innocent and prodigal that is not done with advantage and care? The mind is defiled by the remembrance of the flesh, the body is smeshen ‘ okalyah, the spirit is defiled by the blood, every wretched mind of my flesh is to serve and work with the sin of the beloved. And who else will not weep for me, the accursed one? Who will not weep for me, the condemned one? For, O Master, I am one to provoke your wrath, and I am one to kindle your wrath against me, and I am one to create evil things before You, having exalted and overcome all sinners from the beginning, who have sinned incomparably and are unforgiven. But when thou art most merciful, tender-hearted, O Lover of mankind, and expectest human conversion, behold, I cast myself down before Thy terrible and unbearable judgment, and as Thou hast touched Thy most pure feet, I cry out to Thee from the depths of my soul: purify, O Lord, forgive, O Beneficent One, have mercy on my infirmity, bow down to my perplexity, attend to my supplication and tears do not be silent about mine, accept me who repent, and turn me who err, embrace those who turn, and forgive those who pray. For thou hast not laid down repentance for the righteous, nor hast laid down forgiveness for those who do not sin, but hast laid down repentance for me, a sinner, for what I have done in Thy indignation; I stand naked and naked before Thee, O Lord, Who knowest my heart, and confess my sins: for I cannot look and see the height of heaven, and let us fall down from the weight of my sins. Enlighten the eyes of my heart, and grant me tenderness to repentance, and contrition of heart to correction, that with good hope and true assurance I may go to the world there, praising and blessing Thy all-holy name, of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages, amen.
