Psalm 24

A psalm to David.
1 To thee, O Lord, lift up my soul, O my God, I have put my trust in thee; let me not be put to shame for ever, and let my enemies laugh at me, 2 For all who endure thee will not be put to shame. 3 Let those who are wrongdoers be put to shame in this place. 4 Ways Speak to me, O Lord, and teach me Your paths. 5 Guide me in your truth, and teach me, as you are God Saved mine, and You’ve been patient all day. 6 Remember thy mercies, O LORD, and thy mercies, for they are from everlasting. 7 Remember not the sin of my youth, nor my ignorance; for the sake of thy lovingkindness, O LORD, remember me. 8 The LORD is good and just; for this reason he will give a law to those who sin in the way. 9 He will guide the meek in judgment; he will teach the meek in his own way. 10 Vsi putiya The Lord’s mercy and truth, to those who seek His covenant and his forgiveness. 11 For thy name’s sake, O Lord, and make atonement for my sin, for it is many. 12 Who is a man to fear the Lord? He will put the law in his way, if you please. 13 His soul shall dwell in good things, and his seed shall inherit the earth. 14 The LORD is mighty over those who fear him, and he will show them his covenant. 15 I will draw out my eyes to the LORD, for he will pluck out my snare. 16 Look upon me and have mercy on me, for I am the only begotten and the poor. 17 The sorrows of my heart are multiplied; take me out of my need. 18 See my humility and my labor, and forsake all my sins. 19 See my enemies, for they have multiplied, and have hated me through unrighteous hatred. 20 Keep my soul and deliver me, that I may not be put to shame, for I have put my trust in you. 21 Do not be unkindly and just, but cling to me, for I have suffered thee, O Lord. 22 Deliver Israel, O God, from all their sorrows.

Psalm 25

A psalm to David.
1 Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in my kindness, and trusting in the Lord, I will not faint. 2 Test me, O Lord, and prove me; open my womb and my heart. 3 For thy lovingkindness is in my sight, and I am well pleased in thy truth. 4 I will not be hoary with a vain company, nor will I enter with the transgressors of the law. 5 I will hate the church of the wicked, and I will not sit with the wicked. 6 I will wash my hands in blameless things, and I will search your altar, O LORD. 7 To hear the voice of praise Thy will, and tell all Thy wonders. 8 O Lord, thou hast loved the beauty of thy house, and the place of the habitation of thy glory. 9 Do not destroy my soul with the wicked, nor my life with men of blood. 10 And their right hand was filled with reward in the hand of iniquity. 11 But I have walked with my goodness; deliver me, O Lord, and have mercy on me. 12 My foot A hundred times right: in the churches I will bless You, O Lord.

Psalm 26

A psalm to David, before the anointing.
1 The Lord is my light and my Saviour, whom will I fear? The Lord is the Protector of my life, from whom will I be afraid? 2 Always draw near to me those who are angry, to bear my flesh, those who insult me, and my enemies, who are weary and fallen. 3 If the army is set up against me, my heart will not be afraid; if the battle rises up against me, I will put my trust in him. 4 If I ask only of the LORD, I will require it: to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to see the beauty of the LORD, and to visit his holy temple. 5 For you have hidden me in your village in the day of my wickedness; you have hidden me in the secret of your village; you have lifted me up on a stone. 6 And now, behold, I lift up my head against my enemies: the sacrifice of praise and glad tidings is consumed and consumed in his village; I will sing and sing to the LORD. 7 Hear, O Lord, my voice when I cry out to them: Have mercy on me, and hear me. 8 My heart says to you, ” I will seek the Lord.” Recovery fee You are my face, my face Thine, O Lord, I will seek. 9 Don’t turn your face away Do not turn away from your servant with anger Thine: Awaken my helper, cast me not away, and forsake me not, O God my Saviour. 10 For my father and mother have forsaken me, but the Lord has received me. 11 Give me the law, O Lord, on the way And guide me in the right path for my enemies ‘ sake. 12 Do not betray me to the souls of those who are cold, for you have rebelled against me as a witness of unrighteousness, and unrighteousness has lied to itself. 13 I believe that the good news of the Lord will come to the land of the living. 14 Be patient with the LORD, take heart, and be strong in your heart, and be patient with the LORD.

Psalm 27

A psalm to David.
1 To thee, O Lord, will I cry, O my God, that thou mayest not be silent from me, that thou mayest not be silent from me: and I will be like unto thee when I come downsmoke in the moat. 2 Hear, O Lord, the voice of my supplication; I will always pray to you; I will always lift up my hands to your holy temple. 3 Don’t attract me with sinners, and with those who do unrighteousness, do not destroy me, who say peace with their neighbors, but evil is in their hearts. 4 Grant unto them, O LORD, according to their works, and according to the wickedness of their undertakings: according to the works of their hand grant unto them: give them their recompense. And into the works of the Lord, and into the works of his hand: I will destroy, and I will not build up. 6 Blessed be the LORD, for you have heard the voice of my supplication. 7 Lord Pomomy protector and Protector: in Him my heart trusts, and help me, and my flesh will flourish, and by my will we will obey Him. 8 The Lord is the foundation of his people, and the defender of Christ’s salvation I have one of my own. 9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance; and I will preserve them, and take them up for ever.

Psalm 28

Psalm to David, exodus of the tabernacle.
1 Offer unto the LORD, ye sons of God; offer unto the LORD, ye sons of the ram; offer unto the LORD glory and honor. 2 Bring glory to the LORD for his name, and worship the LORD in the court of his sanctuary. 3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; the God of glory is lifted up; the LORD is upon many waters. 4 The voice of the LORD is in strength, the voice of the LORD is in splendor. 5 The voice of the LORD that breaketh the cedars, and the LORD digs up the cedars of Lebanon: 6 And I will destroy as the bullock of Lebanon, and the beloved as the only-begotten son. 7 The voice of the LORD, cutting off the flame of fire. 8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness, and the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kaddish. 9 The voice of the LORD brings forth Eleni, and opens the oaks, and in his temple everyone speaks glory. 10 The LORD will inhabit the flood, and the LORD will sit down as king forever. 11 The LORD will give strength to his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

Psalm 29

1 Psalm of a song dedicated to the house of David.
2 I will exalt thee, O Lord, for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my enemies glad for me. 3 O Lord my God, I have cried to you, and you have healed me. 4 O Lord, you have lifted up my soul from hell; you have saved me from those who go down into the pit. 5 Sing praises to the Lord, his venerable ones, and confess the memory of his holiness. 6 For wrath is in his wrath, and his belly is in his heart: weep in the evening, and joy in the morning. 7 But I am Reh in my abundance: I will not move for ever. 8 O Lord, give strength to my kindness by your will. Thou hast turned away the face Yours, and byh is confused. 9 To you, O Lord, I will call, and to my God I will pray. 10 What profit is there in my blood, that I may always go to destruction? Will the food be tasted with dust, or will it proclaim Your truth? 11 The LORD has heard and had mercy on me: The LORD was my helper. 12 Thou hast turned my lamentation into my joy: thou hast rent my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness. 13 For let my glory sing to you, and I will not be moved: O Lord my God, we will make ourselves known to you forever.

Psalm 30

1 At the end, a psalm to David, of ecstasy.
2 In thee, O Lord, have I put my trust; let me not be put to shame forever. 3 Incline thine ear to me, hasten to take me away, awaken me to a God of protection, and to a house of refuge, that thou mayest save me. 4 For you are my strength and my refuge, and for your name’s sake teach me and teach me. 5 Lead me out of this snare that I have hidden from you, for you are my Protector, O Lord. 6 I will offer my spirit in your hands: you have delivered me, O Lord God of truth. 7 Hast thou hated keepingschyya vot’shche vanity: but I put my trust in the Lord. 8 I will rejoice and be glad in your lovingkindness, for you have seen my humility, you have saved my soul from need, 9 and you have shut me up in the hands of the enemy, you have set my feet in the open. 10 Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am grieved: my eye, my soul, and my womb are troubled with wrath. 11 For my life is gone in sickness, and my years are spent in sighing; my strength is worn out by poverty, and my bones are crushed. 12 My enemy was a reproach from all, and my neighbor was great, and fear was known to me: those who see me have fled from me. 13 He is forgotten because he is dead from the heart, and because the vessel is destroyed. 14 For I have heard the woe of many who live in the neighborhood, so that they may always gather together for me, and please my soul to consult together. 15 But I have put my trust in you, O Lord, reh: You are Oh, my God. 16 In the hand Deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. 17 Enlighten your face Yours on the slave Save me by Your mercy. 18 O Lord, let me not be put to shame, for I have called thee: let the wicked be put to shame, and go down to hell. 19 Let flatterers be dumb with their mouths, and let them speak iniquity against the righteous, through pride and abasement. 20 Since, O Lord, you have hidden the great multitude of your goodness to those who fear you, you have made them trust in you before the sons of men. 21 Hide them in secret. Protect them from the rebellion of men, cover them in the shelter from the wrangling of the tongue. 22 Blessed be the LORD, for you have surprised your mercy in the walled city. 23 But I reech in my frenzy: I am cast out from before thine eyes: for this cause hast thou heard the voice of my prayer, and hast always cried unto thee. 24 Love the LORD, all his venerable ones, for the Lord seeks the truth, and gives much reward to those who are proud. 25 Be of good cheer, and let your heart be strengthened, all of you who put your trust in the Lord.

Psalm 31

Psalm to David, reason.
1 Blessed are those who forsake iniquity and hide their sins. 2 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD will not impute sin, for there is flattery in his mouth. 3 For you are silent, and you have promised to keep my bones from calling me all day long. 4 For the hand is heavy on me day and night Thine, returned to the passion, when unse mi turn. 5 My iniquity is known, and my sin is not covered, reh: Let us try my iniquity to the LORD against me, and you have forsaken the wickedness of my heart. 6 For this reason every venerable person will pray to you in the time of need, for they will not come near him in the flood of many waters. 7 You are my refuge O my joy, deliver me from those who have left me. 8 I will admonish thee, and guide thee in this way, in which thou shalt go, and I will establish my eyes upon thee. 9 Do not wake up like a horse or a mesk, which has no understanding: you shall lift up their jaws with furrows and bridle, which do not come near you. 10 Many wounds are inflicted on the sinner, but mercy will come to him who trusts in the Lord. 11 Rejoice in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous, and glory, all of you who are upright in heart.
Glory:
According to the 4th Kathisma, the Trisagion according to Our Father: The same troparia, voice 7:
Visit my humble soul, O Lord, who hath suffered all my life in sin: accept me also in the same manner as a harlot , and save me.
Swimming through the abyss of my present life, / I ponder the abyss of my many evils, / and do not have a guardian of my thoughts, / Peter proclaims to Thee the voice: / save me, O Christ, save me, O God, / for thou lovest Mankind.
Glory: Let us soon enter the bride-house of Christ , so that we may all hear the blessed voice of Christ our God: Come, you who love the glory of heaven , you who have been partakers of wise virgins, and who have made our lights clear by faith.
And now, O soul, repent before your exodus , for the judgment of sinners is inexhaustible and unbearable. / Cry out to the Lord with emotion of heart: / you have sinned in knowledge and not in knowledge, Generous One, / through the prayers of the Theotokos pinch and save me.
Lord, have mercy (40) and the prayer:
To You, O Lord, the only Good and Unmemorable One, I confess my sins; To You I fall down crying out, unworthy one: I have sinned, O Lord, I have sinned, and I am not worthy to look up to the height of heaven from the multitude of my iniquities. But, O my Lord, O Lord, grant me tears of emotion, the only Blessed and Merciful One, for with them I beseech Thee to be cleansed from all sin before the end: for the Imam’s place is terrible and menacing, the bodies are parted, and the multitude of my gloomy and inhuman demons is revealed, and no one is sent to help or deliver me. So I fall down to Your goodness, do not betray me to those who offend me, below let my enemies boast about me, O Good Lord, below let them say: you have come into our hands, and you are delivered up to us. But, O Lord, do not forget your mercies, and do not reward me according to my iniquity, and do not turn away your face But You, O Lord, punish me, abound in mercy and bounty. But let not my enemy rejoice over me, but quench his reproaches against me, and put an end to all his actions, and grant me a sure way to You, O good Lord: if you are sick and have sinned, do not run to another doctor, and do not stretch out my hand to a strange god; do not reject my supplication, but hear me By Thy goodness, and strengthen my heart by thy fear, and let thy grace be upon me, O Lord, as a fire that kindles my unclean thoughts. For thou art, O Lord, light beyond all light; joy beyond all joy; rest beyond all rest; true life and salvation abiding for ever and ever, amen.
