In honor of the Holy Martyr Hieron and 33 with him who suffered for their faith in Christ in Melitene during the reign of the emperors Diocletian and Maximian.
|St. Lazarus of Galicia||
The church celebrates the memory of Saint Lazarus, originally from Lydia. He was a monk at the monastery of St. Sava. After being ordained a presbyter (priest), he moved to Mount Galicia, where he became a stylite and founded a church dedicated to the Resurrection of Christ.
|Holy Martyr Kirill (Smirnov), Metropolitan of Kazan and other cities||
It is dedicated to Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan and Sviyazhsk (birth name-Konstantin Ilarionovich Smirnov). Years of life: 1863-1937. He was arrested for "leading counter-revolutionary clergy", imprisoned and shot in the Fox Ravine near the city of Shymkent. He was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church in 2000.
