Psalm 17. “I will love thee, O Lord, my fortress”

1 In the end, O David the servant of the LORD, who hath heard the words of the LORD, and the words of this song, in the day when thou shalt deliver him The Lord is his enemy out of the hand of all, and out of the hand of Sauli.: 2 I will love you, O Lord, my fortress. 3 The LORD is my strength, and my refuge, and my deliverer, my God, help me.my protector, and the horn of my salvation, and my Intercessor. 4 I will call on the LORD in praise, and I will be saved from my enemies. 5 Thou hast possessed me with the diseases of death, and the children of iniquity have crushed

me; 6 The diseases of hell have come upon me,and the snares of death have preceded me. 7 And I will always mourn, and call on the LORD, and cry out to my God, when I hear my voice from the temple of my Holy one, and my cry before him will enter into his ears. 8 And the earth was moved and trembled, and the foundations of the mountains were crushed and moved, as God was angry with him. 9 The smoke of his wrath went up, and the fire was kindled from his presence, and the coals were kindled from him. 10 And bow down the heavens, and let them fall, and darkness under his feet.

11 And go up to the cherubim, and lethe, lethe to the windy creel. 12 And thou shalt put thy covering in darkness, and its habitation is round about it; the waters are dark in the clouds of the air. 13 Because of the leafing before him, clouds of proidosh, hail, and coals of fire. 14 And the LORD thundered from heaven, and the Most High gave his voice. 15 Низпосла́ arrows and dispersal I, and lightning multiply and crumple I.

16 And the fountains of your waters were revealed, and the foundations of the world were opened, because of your rebuke, O LORD, and because of the breath of the spirit of your wrath. 17 They sent me down from on high, and received me, and received me out of many waters. 18 He will deliver me from my mighty enemies and from those who hate me, for he will be stronger than I am. 19 Go before me in the day of my wickedness, and the LORD was my strength. 20 And he will bring me out into the breadth; he will deliver me, for he will make me whole.

21 And the LORD will reward me according to my righteousness, and according to my purity he will reward me. 22 For we will keep the ways They are the children of the Lord, and they have not done unrighteousness from my God. 23 For all his destinies are before me, and his justifications will not depart from me. 24 And I will be blameless with him, and I will be preserved from my iniquity. 25 And the LORD will reward me according to my righteousness and my uprightness in his sight.

26 You will be venerable with a venerable man, and you will be innocent with an innocent man, 27 and you will be chosen with a chosen man, and you will be corrupted with a rebellious man. 28 For you have saved the humble people, and humbled the eyes of the proud. 29 As you enlighten my lampstand, O Lord my God, enlighten my darkness. 30 For by you I will be delivered from temptation, and by my fear I will pass over the wall.

31 My God, his way is blameless; the word of the LORD is kindled; he is the protector of all who trust in him. 32 For who is God, but the Lords? or who is God but our God? 33 God gird me with power, and make my way blameless. 34 Perform my duties as eleni, and set me up on high. 35 Teach my hands to battle, and thou hast laid down the bow of brass in my arm.

36 And you have given me the protection of salvation, and your right hand will receive me, and your chastisement will correct me in the end, and your chastisement will teach me. 37 You have humbled my feet under me, and my mold will not fail. 38 My enemies will marry, and I will come upon them, and I will not return until they die. 39 I will offend them, and they will not be able to stand; they will fall under the feet of Moim. 40 And thou hast girded me with power for battle, and hast made me sleep all my days.shchyya on mya under mya.

41 And thou hast given me the backbone of my enemies, and hast consumed them that hate me. 42 Cry out, and do not save: to the LORD, and do not hear them. 43 And I will destroy as dust before the wind, as the clay of the ways I will blot out. 44 Deliver me from the wrangling of men, and make me the head of tongues. Ludie, ikhzhe ne vedeh, rabotasha mi. 45 Listen to me in the ear of the ear. The sons of strangers lied to me.

46 The sons of strangers vowed to betshash and ochromosh from their paths. 47 As the LORD lives, and blessed be God, and exalted be the God of my salvation. 48 God hath taken vengeance on me, and hath subdued the people under me. 49 O my deliverer, deliver me from the enemies of my wrath; lift me up from those who rise up against me; deliver me from an unrighteous man. 50 For this reason, O Lord, we will make ourselves heard among the nations, and sing to your name: 51 Magnify the salvation of the king, and show mercy to Christ To his David, and to his seed for ever.

Glory:

Psalm 18

1 At the end, a psalm to David.
2 The heavens declare the glory of God, but the firmament proclaims the hand of creation. 3 Day of days the verb regurgitates, and night of nights reason proclaims. 4 Not the essence of speech, but words are lower, and their voices are not heard. 5 Their utterance shall go forth into all the earth, and their words into the ends of the world. 6 And she who comes forth from her palace as a bridegroom will rejoice, for she is a giant of a mother-in-law’s way. 7 From the uttermost part of heaven is his going forth, and his meeting, to the uttermost part of heaven, and no one will hide his warmth. 8 The law of the LORD is blameless, it turns souls; the testimony of the LORD is true, it makes infants wise. 9 The justifications of the LORD are just, making the heart glad; the commandment of the LORD is bright, enlightening the eyes. 10 The fear of the Lord is pure, abiding for ever and ever: the destinies of the Lord are true, justified together, 11 Desired more than gold and much honest stone, and enjoyed more than honey and honeycomb. 12 For I keep your servant, and I will always keep him; the reward is great. 13 Who understands the fall? Purify me from my secret ways, 14 and spare the servant from those who are strangers If they do not possess me, then I will be blameless and cleansed from great sin. 15 And the words of my mouth shall be well pleased, and the instruction of my heart before thee will I bring forth, O LORD, my helper and my deliverer.

Psalm 19

1 At the end, a psalm to David.
2 The LORD will hear you in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob will protect you. 3 Help will come from the Holy One, and from Zion he will intercede for you. 4 He will remember all your sacrifices, and you shall make your burnt offering fat. 5 The LORD will give you according to your heart, and will do all your counsel. 6 Let us rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of the Lord our God let us be magnified. The Lord will grant all your petitions. 7 Now I know that you are the Saviour, the Lord of Christ He will hear him from His holy heaven; the salvation of his right hand is in power. 8 These are in chariots, and these on horses; but we will call in the name of the LORD our God. 9 Tii spati bysha and padosha, but we vosstakhom and pravopravikomsya. 10 O Lord, save the king, and hear us when we call upon you in the day.

Psalm 20

1 Psalm to David.
2 O Lord, the king will rejoice in your strength, and he will rejoice greatly in your salvation. 3 Thou hast given him the desire of his heart, and hast deprived him of the desire of his mouth. 4 For you have preceded him with a benediction full of goodness; you have placed on his head a crown of precious stone. 5 He asked for food from you, and you gave him the length of days forever and ever. 6 Great is his glory through your salvation; put glory and greatness on him. 7 For give him a blessing for ever and ever, and make him rejoice with your countenance. 8 For the king trusts in the Lord, and is not moved by the mercy of the Most High. 9 Let the hand be found Let Your right hand find all those who hate You. 10 For thou shalt lay them down as a cave of fire in the time of the face Thine own, the Lord with His wrath will crush me, and consume them with fire. 11 Destroy their fruit from the earth, and their seed from the sons of men. 12 For I have deviated from evil against thee, and have thought of counsels that they cannot make up. 13 For I have set up my back, and have prepared their faces for your abundance. 14 Be exalted, O LORD, in your strength; let us sing and sing of your strength.
Glory:

Psalm 21

1 At the end, on the morning intercession, a psalm to David.
2 O God, my God, understand me, what hast thou forsaken me? The words of my fall are far from my salvation. 3 My God, I will call in the days, and you will not hear, and by night, and I will not be mad. 4 But you live in the Holy One, praise be to you. The land of Israel. 5 Our fathers have trusted in you, and I have also delivered you. 6 I will cry to you and be saved; I will trust in you and not be put to shame. 7 But I am a worm, and not a man, a reproach to men, and a reproach to men. 8 All those who see me will reproach me, they will speak with their mouths, they will repent with their heads: 9 I trust in the LORD, that he may deliver him, that he may save him, for he longs for him. 10 For thou didst pluck me out of the womb, O my hope from the breast of my mother’s mother. 11 I am bound to you from the womb, from the womb of my mother You are my God. 12 Do not turn away from me, for sorrow is near, for there is no helpyai mi. 13 The calves are plentiful, the youngsters are fat, and you have possessed me. 14 He opened his mouth against me, like a lion that rapt and roared. 15 As water was poured out, and all my bones were broken, so was my heart like wax that melted in the midst of my belly. 16 For my strength is poor, and my tongue clings to my throat, and you have brought me down to the dust of death. 17 For thou hast made me many, the host of the wicked hast possessed me, and hast found my hands and my feet. 18 You have counted all my bones, but you have looked at me and despised me. 19 You will divide my garments for yourself, and you will cast lots for my clothing. 20 But you, O Lord, do not withdraw your help from me; listen to my intercession. 21 Deliver my soul from weapons, and my only begotten daughter from the hand of God. 22 Save me from the mouth of the lion, and from the horns of the unicorn my humility. 23 Let us remember your name to my brethren, and I will sing praises to you in the midst of the church. 24 You who fear the LORD, praise him, all the seed of Jacob. 25 For thou shalt not despise; the prayers of the poor are lower than indignation; lower turn away thy face And when I cried out to Him, He heard me. 26 My praise is from you; we will listen to you with greatness in the church; I will render my prayers to those who fear him. 27 The poor will eat and be filled, and those who seek him will praise the LORD; their hearts will live forever and ever. 28 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the countries of the world will bow down before him. 29 For the kingdom of the Lord is the kingdom, and the Lord has it. 30 When all the fat ones of the earth have eaten and bowed down, all those who go down to the earth will fall down before him, and my soul will live by it. 31 And my seed shall work for him, and shall declare to the LORD the generation to come. 32 And they shall declare his righteousness to the people that are born, which the LORD hath made.

Psalm 22

A psalm to David.
1 The Lord feeds me, and deprives me of nothing. 2 In the place of gold, there you have made me whole, on the water you have brought me up calmly. 3 Turn my soul, guide me in the paths of righteousness, for your name’s sake. 4 For if I walk in the midst of the shadow of death, fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your club, you comfort me. 5 Thou hast prepared a table before me for those who are cold; thou hast anointed my head with oil, and thy cup hast made me drunk, for it is mighty. 6 And thy lovingkindness shall marry me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD in the length of days.

Psalm 23

A psalm to David, one from the Sabbaths.
1 The earth is the Lord’s, and its fulfillment, and the world, and all who dwell therein. 2 He has founded a nation on the seas, and has prepared a nation on the rivers. 3 Who will go up to the mountain of the Lord? or who will stand in His holy place? 4 He is blameless in hand and pure in heart, who does not take his soul in vain, and does not swear to his sincere flattery. 5 This man will receive a blessing from the LORD, and alms from God his Saviour. 6 This is the generation of those who seek the LORD, those who seek him. The God of Jacob. 7 Lift up the gates of your princes, and lift up the everlasting gate, and the king of glory shall enter. 8 Who is this King of Glory? The Lord is strong and strong, the Lord is strong in battle. 9 Lift up the gates of your princes, and lift up the everlasting gate, and the king of glory shall enter. 10 Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of Hosts, That is, the King of Glory.
Glory:
According to the 3rd Kathisma, the Trisagion according to Our Father: The same troparia, voice 3:
You who live on earth, my soul, repent: / dust does not sing in the grave, it does not deliver sins. / Cry out to Christ your God: / Know your heart, O sinner, / first do not even condemn me, but have mercy on me.
How long, O my soul, do you remain in sin? / How long will you accept the transfiguration of repentance? / Accept in your mind the coming judgment and cry out to the Lord: / Know your heart, you have sinned, / first do not even condemn me, have mercy on me.
Glory: At the Last Judgment, I am rebuked without harangues, / I am condemned without witnesses, / for the books of my conscience are unbent, / and the hidden works are revealed. O God, purify me and save me before you put me to the public shame and test me for what I have done.
And now: Misunderstood and incomprehensible, O Lady of God’s Grace, is the dreadful sacrament that has been done about You: For thou hast conceived and borne in the flesh, overlaid with Thy pure blood: O Thou pure One, as Thy Son, pray for the salvation of all who sing to Thee.
Lord, have mercy (40) and the prayer:
O Lord Almighty, Word of the All-beginning Father, Self-perfected God Jesus Christ, for the sake of Your uncomplicated mercy, do not separate Your servants, but rest in them forever, do not forsake me, a servant But grant me, unworthy as I am, the joy of Your salvation, and enlighten my mind with the light of the knowledge of your gospel, and my soul with the love of the Cross Bind yours, my body is mine Adorn me with your dispassion, calm my thoughts, and keep my nose from creeping, and do not destroy me with my iniquities, O Good Lord, but test me, O God, and enlighten my heart, try me and lead away my paths, and see if the path of iniquity is in me, and turn me away from it, and guide me to the path of iniquity. the path is eternal. For you are the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and to You we send up glory together with Your Father without Beginning, and your All-holy, Good, and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages, amen.
