Prayer to Saint Galaktion, Wonderworker of Vologda

O venerable and God-blessed Galaktion our Father, who is a strong protection for our country, and who is a champion of Orthodox Christians and a warm prayer book for us sinners to our All-merciful God Jesus Christ and His Most Pure Mother, our Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary. We humbly pray to you, Venerable one, do not forget us sinful and unworthy servants of yours, but as a fervent intercessor and intercessor, look down mercifully on our infirmity and ask Christ our God through your prayers, so that by Your grace He may sanctify our souls and bodies, enlighten our minds with the light of God’s understanding, and cleanse our conscience from dead works, from sinful deeds. He gives us sincere repentance, contrition of heart, tears and tenderness, abstinence and sobriety, humility and meekness, purity of soul and body, love of beggars and strangers, and unfeigned love for one another. O all-blessed Galactic Father, vouchsafe us to walk the path of salvation, so that through your prayers the most-good Christ our God may show us sinners His grace and mercy, and set us free from all evils and future torments, and make us worthy to be the heir of His Heavenly Kingdom, who glorify and magnify Him together with His Beginningless Father and All-Holy, Good, and Life-giving By His Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages.
