Prayer to St. Ferapont of Monzen

O Venerable Father, great intercessor, quick hearer, God’s servant and wonderworker Feraponte! Do not forget us, as you promised, and visit your children; for even if you have departed from us in body, you will always remain with us in spirit. We beseech thee, O venerable Father: deliver us from fire and sword, from the invasion of foreigners and internecine warfare, from pernicious winds, from sudden death, and from all the pretexts of the enemy that come upon us. Hear us sinners, and accept our prayer and supplication, which we offer to you as a fragrant censer and as an acceptable sacrifice. O Venerable Father, quicken and raise up our souls that have been slain by evil deeds, words and thoughts. And just as you have healed many who come to your death-bearing tomb with faith, with all the sorrows and illnesses of those who suffer, so heal us also from our ailments of mind and body. Pull us out of the depths of our sins and guide us on the path of repentance, delivering us from visible and invisible enemies by your merciful intercession. Help us in this life, and in the exodus of our souls, and in the life to come, for ever and ever. Amen.
