Prayer to the Holy Martyr Zinaida

O most laudable martyr of Christ, Zinaido, our trustworthy intercessor before the Lord. To you we fall down and pray: grant that we may be partakers of your love for God and your neighbor, so that during your lifetime your holy soul may be filled with life. Enlighten us truly, enlighten our minds and hearts with the light of the Divine teaching, teach us to imitate you faithfully, to love God and our neighbor, and to fulfill the Lord’s commandments infallibly, so that we may truly appear as children of the light. Look kindly upon every soul of your faithful worshippers, who seek your mercy and help. Be a healer to all of us in pain, a comforter to sorrows, a visitor to sorrows, a helper in troubles and needs, a merciful patron and protector in the hour of death, and fulfill all our petitions for good. Grant that through your prayers we may receive eternal salvation and inherit the Kingdom of Christ, glorifying the wondrous God in your saints, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, to the ages of ages. Amen.
