O All-holy, Life-giving, and Undivided Trinity, true servant and faithful servant, blessed and ever-memorable Simon! O chosen one of God, you have also been a fool to the world, but you amaze the wise with your life! O the most beautiful virtuous and wondrous wonderworker Simone! Behold, we always delight and will delight thee, who is foreknown by our Lord Jesus Christ. For thou, being jealous of the blessedness of all the righteous, hast forsaken all this world that passes away, and after our faithful joy and resurrection of the all-sweet Jesus hast flowed forth, and by that mighty help hast thou even reached the Mountain Zion, where there is a dwelling place for those who rejoice. O righteous man of God, we fervently beseech thee: look down upon us, who fall into many temptations, and pray for us the joy and hope unspeakable to all men, the Only-begotten Son and the Word of God, who is co-original with the Father and the Spirit, so that we, too, may be provoked by the unmindful mercy of God, may he not forsake us, and may he arrange all things for our benefit, but may He firmly establish us in his Orthodox, true, and immaculate faith, and save us by His righteous destinies, and allow us to be tempted more often than we can, and mercifully deliver us from the troubles and sorrows that sin always brings us, for the sake of those who happen to be ours. To her, we beseech thee, the servant of Christ: Just as in your life you have looked down upon those who need help, so even now I will not turn away those who pray to you, but will stand up for us to the Lord, and through your prayers deliver us from our cruel falls. Beseech Him that this city of thine, in which, having lived virtuously, thou didst please God, may preserve it from all the slander of the enemy, and that the people who dwell therein may show them worthy of eternal life. And we beseech thee, Blessed Simone: visit us who pray to thee in our needs. May we intercede for you, and continually glorify Christ our God, who gave us your warm intercessor, for to him belongs all glory, honor, and worship with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages, amen.
