About the all-praising of the holy martyr, the valor of the servant of Christ, Theognis, Rufa, Antipater, Theostich, Artemon, Magna, Theodotus, Favmasia and Philemon! Who for Christ’s sake have gathered from various countries, and that perfect God and man boldly preached in Kizitsa and, being forced to be devoured by an idol, trampled down idols and put the prince to shame, were not afraid of various longings and fiery reproach, and after various sufferings were quickly cut down with the edge of the sword, and shed their blood for Christ, like water, and Adorn the Church of Christ with scarlet as a bride, and thus crown it even now with the unfading crown of immortal glory, and ever in unspeakable joy with the faces of the angels in the heavenly villages, and enjoy the divine light and the sight of His ineffable goodness. For this reason, we also, humbly, flow to you and tenderly look upon your holy image, we beseech you: pray for us to Christ God, for we have boldness in Him, so that through your holy prayers we may be delivered of every disease and harm of soul and body, for God will give you the gift of medicine from all sorrows with faith to you You who fall down to heal, just as you have healed this glorious man from the shaking sickness, so that we, too, who are faithful and have received hope, honor you, holy martyrs, who have a little of the gift of Christ God, to Whom glory is purchased together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, always, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
