Holy Passion-bearer, priestmartyr Kukshe, who performed apostolic feats in the midst of the habitation of your fellow tribesmen, our ancestors, whom you enlightened with the light of true Knowledge of God, and by the grace of the Holy Spirit drove out the demons, brought rain from heaven, dried up the earth, and performed many miracles, sealing your long-suffering feat with a martyr’s end! Accept from us fervent and tender prayers and lift me up to the throne of the Holy Trinity, where you stand in the person of the saints, so that by your intercession the merciful Lord may strengthen the spirit of faith and piety in the children of the holy Orthodox Church, and in her pastors may he increase zeal for the edification of the flock, and may He look with a merciful eye your help. By God’s holy servant! In these, for the sake of your sufferings, which are great, your prayer to the Master’s well-being can do much.
