Prayer to the Venerable (Pious Princess) Haritina of Lithuania

O Venerable and most Glorious Mother Haritino, bride of your Bridegroom Christ, intercessor and guardian of the Great Novagrad and the Russian land. We have heard those who pray to you, and as you have taken care of your monastery and the monks who live in it, and have directed many Russian wives to the path of salvation, so now help us, enlighten the darkening of our minds and guide the Russian people to the light of the true faith, strengthen hope in God in our souls, and strengthen love in our hearts confirm us and ask for time to repent. In the days of great troubles and sorrows of our country, be our intercessor, beseech the Most Pure Mother of the Lord, to save the Russian land from famine, from the invasion of enemies and internecine warfare, from deadly plagues and diseases, to strengthen us in Orthodoxy, unity of mind, brotherly love and unshakeable even to death confession of the faith of Christ, and to teach us obedience Churches of His Holiness. O our ever-memorable Mother Haritino, offer up your prayers for us sinners and gather the scattered children of God together with your love, kindle the flame of prayer in our hearts, so that glorifying your memory, we may glorify our Lord Jesus Christ forever and ever.
