Memorial Day of 9 monks and novices of the Kazan Assumption Zilantov Monastery and Archimandrite Sergius Zaitsev, who were shot by the Red Army in 1918. Beatified in 2000.
|St. Moses Murin, Hieromonk||
Honoring Saint Moses, who lived in the IV century in Egypt. Murin got his nickname because of his black complexion. A highwayman in his youth. Then he spent many years in monastic labors, for which he was awarded the rank of deacon and soon-presbyter. He was killed by robbers around the year 400.
