Lord, let me face with peace of mind all that the coming day will bring me. Let me surrender myself entirely to Your holy will. At every hour of this day, guide and support me in all things. Whatever news I receive during the day, teach me to accept it with peace of mind and the firm conviction that it is Your holy will. Guide my thoughts and feelings in all my words and actions. In all emergencies, don’t let me forget that everything is sent down by You. Teach me to deal directly and intelligently with each member of my family, without embarrassing or upsetting anyone. Lord, give me the strength to bear the fatigue of the coming day and all the events of the day. Guide my will and teach me to pray, to believe, to hope, to endure, to forgive, and to love. Amen.
