O Most Holy Virgin Theotokos, Most Gracious Lady, Queen of heaven and earth, Mistress of every Christian home and family, blessing of the toiling, inexhaustible wealth of the needy, nursing of the poor and widows, and of all people!
To our nourisher, Who gave birth to the universal Nourisher and Disputant of our loaves, Do You, O Lady, send down Thine name. A motherly blessing to our cities, villages and fields, and to the house that has no hope in You.
Thus, with reverent awe and a contrite heart, we humbly beseech Thee: wake up also to us, Your sinful and unworthy servant, wise Stewardess, who arranges our life for good.
But keep every community, every house and family in piety and Orthodoxy, unity of mind, obedience and contentment. Feed the poor and indigent, support old age, bring up infants, and encourage all to cry out to the Lord in all sincerity: “Give us this day our daily bread.”
Preserve, O Most Pure Mother, Your people from all need, sickness, famine, destruction, hail, fire, from every evil situation and every disorder. Send forth peace and great mercy to our abodes, to our homes and families, and to every Christian soul and to our entire country, so that we may glorify You, our Most Merciful Nourisher and Nourisher, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
