O our blessed and most merciful Father Seraphim! Leading thee even after thy death, as thou livest, we fall down to thee with faith and cry: do not forget thy poor ones to the end, but look mercifully upon thy spiritual flock and save it, O good shepherd, by thy favorable prayers to God. Ask us from the Lord time for repentance and correction of our sinful lives, for we must weigh all our spiritual infirmities: we are not imams of works of faith and salvation, nor are we imams of zeal for true God-pleasing, we are captivated by the mind in destructive passions, we are the corruption of the heart in vile lusts. What do we hope for and hope for, neklyuchimii, who have ruined the temples of our souls? To her, holy Father, stretch out your hands prayerfully to the Lord and beseech the Savior of the human race to touch our petrified hearts with grace, to wash us with tears of repentance, to raise us up in faith, to strengthen us in piety, and to bestow all that is useful for salvation. Do not put to shame our hope, which we place in you for the Lord and the Theotokos, but be our speedy helper, comforter in sorrows and patron in circumstances, so that through your prayers we may be vouchsafed to be the heir of the Kingdom of Heaven, where all the saints unceasingly glorify and hymn the Most honorable and Glorious Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and forever and ever.
