Prayer to Saint John the Russian Confessor

O holy new-born Saint John Russian of God! Having fought a good fight on earth, you have perceived in heaven the light of righteousness, which the Lord has prepared for all those who love Him. Thus beholding your holy image, we rejoice in the glorious end of your dwelling place and honor your holy memory. But you, stand before the throne of God, accept our supplications, servant of God (names), and bring them to the All-merciful God, that He may forgive us every sin and help us against the machinations of the devil, so that we may be delivered from sorrows, diseases, troubles and misfortunes and all evil, live piously and justly in the present eez and be worthy of it through your intercession, even if you are unworthy, you see the good things in the land of the living, praising the Only glorified God in Your saints, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and to the ages of ages.
