Prayer to St. Daniel of Pereyaslav

O our venerable and God-bearing Father Daniel, we fall down all-humbly to you and pray to you: do not turn away from us in your spirit, but always remember us in your holy and acceptable prayers to our Lord Jesus Christ: pray to him that the abyss of sin may not drown us, and that we may not be an enemy who hates us, for joy: that Christ our God may forgive us through your intercession for us all our transgressions, and by His own will Through His grace, He will establish harmony and love among us, and deliver us from the wiles and slanders of the devil, from famine, destruction, fire, all tribulation and need, from diseases of the soul and body, and from vain death: may He vouchsafe us, who flow to the shrine of your relics, to live in true faith and repentance, Christian and unashamed and reach the peaceful end of our life, and inherit the kingdom of heaven, and glorify His most holy name with the Beginningless Father and the Most Holy Spirit forever and ever.
