Prayer to St. Daniel Stylites

O our venerable and God-bearing Father Daniel, let us rejoice in the great deeds of your life , in the sorrows, diseases,and temptations that you have shown yourself to be the victorious predivny. We magnify the gifts of the Lord’s grace, which you have revealed to the sick and sorrowful, to sinners and those who have gone astray, in many honourable and manifold ways, for their salvation. We remember to you the all-wise mentor, who is the verb of the people teaching words from the word of the Lord, touching souls and turning minds and hearts to God. We pray to you: do not forget, O most blessed Father, our faith in you and the hope of our trust in you, who always stand before your holy icon and pray warmly. Vouchsafe us, who look with understanding to the end of your habitation, to imitate your faith and love. Remember us, unworthy ones, in your holy and favorable prayers to God, as a priest of God, standing before the Throne of the Almighty. We beseech thee, great molebnichy and miracle-working saint, that thou mayest always be our true comforter, healer, helper, intercessor, patron, and mentor. Do not be silent, crying out for us to the Lord, so that we may flow with patience on the feat of salvation of our souls that is before us, looking to you, our holy teacher, and living piously and justly, in unity of spirit, in unity of faith and love, in the present age; in the future, let us be worthy to glorify the grace and love of God, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen.
