Prayer to St. Cyril, Abbot of Beloezersk, Wonderworker

O sacred head, Venerable and God-bearing Father Cyril! We fall down to you with faith and love, and ask you, our heavenly Intercessor: show your great mercy to us, the humble and sinful, and pour out your warm prayers for us to the Lord God. It is proper for you to have compassion, O holy One of God, for as I live on earth, there was only one care for you, to save the sinful souls of men from destruction, and your whole holy life was a mirror of good deeds, for which the Heavenly Father was glorified in you, and having acquired great boldness for us, ask us of His goodness: true faith, unfeigned piety, true repentance, perfect brotherly love, and success in all good deeds. Exodus Grant us health of mind and body, the fruitfulness of the earth, the well-being of the air, a peaceful and serene life, an unashamed Christian end, and a good answer at the Last Judgment of Christ. Preserve the Holy Church and the Russian State from wars and disturbances. Help our Most Pious, Autocratic Sovereign, the Emperor (namyarek) to overcome His enemies and adversaries. Protect your honest abode from all evil, and all the faithful people who come to you and worship your relics, overshadow your heavenly blessing, and fulfill all their petitions for good. To her, Father, do not despise our prayers, which we offer up to you with emotion, but be a warm intercessor for us to the Lord, and make us worthy by your holy help to receive eternal salvation, and to inherit the Kingdom of heaven, so that we may praise the great bounties and ineffable mercies of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, who intercession, forever and ever, amen.
