Prayer to St. Arseny the Great

O sacred head, earthly Angel, heavenly man, lover of silence, lover of silence, Reverend and God-bearing Father Arseny, let us fall down and pray: pray to the Lord, our God and Saviour Jesus Christ, that He may grant us, His sinful and unworthy servants, all His well-needed gifts for the salvation of the soul: faith. hope for the good, love without hypocrisy, unshakeable blasphemy, consistent love of Christ, and all the virtues that They are commanded in the holy Gospel: may we imitate your well-pleasing life and together with you be worthy to receive eternal salvation and inherit the kingdom of heaven. To her, O servant of God, do not despise us, but help us, through thy heavenly intercession, to end our temporary life piously, to acquire a good, peaceful, and unashamed end, and to be worthy of the bliss of paradise: that we may glorify the love of mankind and generosity in the Trinity, glorify and worship God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and your holy intercession, forever and ever.
