Prayer to Saints Theodore and John, Bishops of Rostov and Suzdal

O great saints of Christ and wonderworkers, Prelates Theodora and Ioanna! Behold, we who are unworthy and sinful are oppressed by many sorrows, and we run fervently to you, and with strong hope we pray: O merciful and benevolent fathers, you will mercifully hear our voice in prayer today, and you will come to our help, and as during your lifetime all those who are sorrowful and embittered will quickly find helpers and comforters, so now also your love for us show us, by the gracious action of your favorable prayers, who transform our sorrow into joy, and our sorrow into consolation, all that you can for Christ who strengthens you, Whose faithful servants are quick, and from whom you have received all the good promise, send down to us also the great and rich mercy of the Lord, so that we may sing and glorify the wondrous God, the Father, in our saints and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages.
