Prayer to St. Maron of Syria

O beloved and sacred head, venerable and God-bearing Father Marone! Nazirite us sinners mercifully from above, and pray to the All-merciful Lord and Giver of all good things to God for the observance of our power and will keep it safe and sound from all enemies. Wake up the prayer book also for us who are unworthy. Stretch out thine honest hands to the All-good Lord, and ask for mercy and bounty from Him; with them preserve us from all troubles and fierce diseases, and free us from all passions; so deliver us from the unbearable and untiring fireweed and shakes by thy prayers, and from the attacks of demons; keep us from visible and invisible enemies, and keep us from our sins ask forgiveness, and present us saved to Christ, so that on the day of the Last Judgment we may appear with joy before the face of His unspeakable glory, and mercifully hear His calling to the kingdom of heaven, and in unspeakable joy see the kindness of His most glorious face, through the grace and love for mankind of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ: For his Kingdom is blessed and most glorified together with His beginningless Father and with His All-holy, Good, and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages.
