O Venerable and God-blessed Father Nile, our God-wise mentor and teacher! Thou, for the love of God, who shunned worldly troubles, didst deign to dwell in the impenetrable desert and in the wilderness, and as the vine is fruitful, having multiplied the children of the desert, thou didst reveal to thyself, by word, scripture, and life, the image of every monastic virtue: and as an angel in the flesh having lived on earth, now in the villages of heaven, where they celebrate an unceasing voice, you are established, and, standing before God from the faces of the saints, you are continually offering praises and praises to Him. We beseech thee, O God-blessed one, to instruct us, who dwell under thy roof, to walk in thy footsteps without stumbling, to love the Lord God with all our heart, to desire and think of that one person, and to pratise ourselves courageously and artfully with the thoughts and pretexts of the enemy that attract us, and to always overcome them: to love all the narrowness of the monastic life and to hate the people of this world, to love for Christ’s sake, and to plant in your hearts every virtue in which you yourself have labored. Pray to Christ God, that He may also enlighten the mind and eyes of the heart for salvation to all Orthodox Christians who live in the world, strengthen them in faith and piety and in the practice of His commandments, preserve them from the flattery of this world, and grant them and us remission of sins. all that we need for a temporary life: in love, unity of mind, and in all joy and long life, he will observe, and every principle and power, and all the host of our Russian country, will guide us to the path of truth and faithfulness: yes, in the desert and in the world we will live a quiet and silent life in all piety and purity, and that With mouth and heart, let us glorify Him together with His Beginningless Father and His All-holy, Good, and Life-giving Spirit, always, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
