Prayer to the Martyr Tsarina Alexandra

O holy Martyr Tsarina Alexandra, who hast loved the Lord with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind! Vema, as a child I am the suffering of the crown of Christ to the mother who died: pray for our children, mothers deprived, mothers abandoned, mothers killed. Vema, for the sake of the Heavenly Bridegroom, you were ready to reject the royal bridegroom: pray for our young women and boys, so that they may not choose bestial food, bought at the cost of their souls. Vema, for you were hated by your neighbors from the wedding crown: pray for the young wives who enter their husbands ‘ homes. Vema, because the essence of your children was not pleasing, until an heir was born: pray for wives who are long-lived. Vema, as a child of prayer, a child of your faith, a son and heir, who is incurable, has appeared to eat: pray do not be a forsaken and sick child of your country.
