Praise the virgins and praise the martyrs, Venerable Anastasia! We fall down to you in the tenderness of our hearts and pray for your intercession with the Lord. If we do not partake of your purity with jealousy and without fear of your confession, we will also draw the wrath of God with many sins and fierce falls and retreats, but we do not want to die in our sins and, looking at your manly exploits, we will take up arms against the overcoming of our passions. This is leading, because apart from the grace-filled help, we can do nothing good, and we ask you for a tax from the Lord. For thou, O most glorious Venerable Martyr, hast acquired great boldness towards the Master, for thou didst glorify Him in thy pure soul and in thy suffering body, for thou didst despise all the temptations and reproaches of the torturer, but the uprooting of teeth and nails, and the cutting off of breasts and hands and feet, and the cutting off of breasts and hands and feet, and didst boldly cry out: “Christ is my riches and praise.” Therefore, grant us spiritual gifts from this riches and our poverty, and keep our life from immeasurable sins; ask us for peace and serenity; protect us from need and despondency by your intercession; guide us to one another in obedience and brotherly love; and always raise up the eyes of our hearts to the Lord, so that we may ever glorify the Father and the Son and The power of the Holy Spirit, and your warm intercession forever and ever. Amen.
