O Venerable Father Macarius! We beseech thee, unworthy ones, that through thy intercession with our All-merciful God we may have health of soul and body, a quiet and God-pleasing life, and a good answer at the Last Judgment of Christ. Extinguish by your prayers the arrows of the devil kindled against the servants of God (names), so that sinful malice may not touch us, so that having piously ended our temporary life, we may be worthy to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven and together with you glorify the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen.
