O most holy Father, to the prelate of Christ Moses, our shepherd and teacher, do not reject us, who flow with faith to the shrine of your relics and to your intercession, and who call upon you with a warm prayer: but quickly strive to pray to the King of kings and the Lord of Lords, so that you may deliver your flock from the wolves that destroy it, and and preserve by thy holy prayers from worldly rebellion and cowardice, from the invasion of a foreigner and civil strife, from famine and destruction, from the flood, from the sword, and from vain death: and just as thou hast had mercy on the coming merchant, and hast saved this holy abode of thine from drowning and from robbers, so have mercy on us also, in mind, word, and deed and deliver us from the wrath of God and eternal punishment, for by your intercession and help, by Your own mercy and grace, Christ God will grant us a quiet and sinless life to live in this world and to deliver us from this standing, and will grant us the right hand with all the saints. Amen.
