Prayer to St. Stephen, Bishop of Perm

O Theosophical and equal-to-the-Apostles Stephen, the new God of knowledge preacher and enlightener of the Holy Baptism of the Great Perm people living in idolatry, a guide to the true light of the Gospel, a good shepherd and a wise teacher, a chosen vessel of the Holy Spirit, an imitator of Christ to the heavenly Zion, a mentor and guide, an image of good morals to all who wish to live piously, this to the heavenly abode of the floating ruler, wondrous hierarch, crowned with Divine grace, all-Russian lampstand, great wonderworker and warm prayer book! To you, in the contrition of my soul and the contrition of my heart, as a wretched and sinful person (name-bearer), I reliably flow and before your miraculous tomb, in which your holy relics rest, I cry out, humbly asking for your help and warm intercession to the Most Gracious God, so that through your God-pleasing prayers you may ask me for His loving mercy, the remission of my many sins and, as you are good and love mankind, may you be pleased to walk comfortably in this world until the end of my life, but at the time of my separation from life, sowing my spirit in repentance and peace, mercifully please Your holy angel, and let me pass by the dark and evil and fierce spirits of demons to come up to Jesus without shame and without shame to stand before Him, to worship, and to live immortal and blissful lives with all the saints forever and ever.
