Prayer to St. Macarius of Oredezh, Wonderworker of Novgorod

O Sacred head, Earthly Angel and heavenly man, Venerable and God-bearing Father Macarius! We fall down to you with faith and love and pray fervently: Show us to the humble and sinful, your holy intercession; for it is sin for our sake, not the imams of the freedom of the children of God to ask for our needs. We offer you the Lord our Master, but to you we offer an acceptable prayer book for him, and we ask You with much zeal: Ask us from his goodness the well-needed gifts for our souls and bodies: just faith, the hope of salvation that is not hidden, love for all that is not hypocritical, courage in temptations, patience in evil sufferings, constancy in prayers, health of souls and bodies, the fruitfulness of the earth, the well-being of the air, the contentment of everyday needs, a peaceful and serene life, a good Christian end, and a good answer at the last judgment of Christ. Do not forget, O venerable Father, the desolate place of your labors, but be kind to it and glorify it by your miracle-working, and mercifully deliver all those who come to worship your holy relics from the temptations of the devil and all evil. O Holy wonderworker, do not deprive us of your heavenly help, but through your prayers lead us all to the haven of salvation, and make us heirs of the all-luminous Kingdom of Christ, so that we may sing and glorify the ineffable mercies of the loving God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and your holy Fatherly intercession for ever and ever.
