O great Saint, Most glorious Wonderworker, Mother See of the Russian Church, guardian of the City of Moscow, and fervent prayerbook of us all, our Father Peter! We humbly fall down to you and pray: stretch out your hands to the Lord God and pray for us, His sinful and unworthy servants: may He show us His mercy and send down to us all the gifts of His goodness that are useful for our temporary life and eternal salvation, and above all may he protect us with peace, brotherly love and piety from all the temptations of the enemy of the devil and He grants us to be your faithful children, not by name tokmo, but by our whole life. To her, God’s servant! Hear us kindly, and be a helper and intercessor for all of us in all our troubles and misfortunes; do not forget us even at the hour of our death, when we demand your intercession above all else, so that, with the help of the prayers of your saints, we sinners will also be worthy to receive a good end and inherit the kingdom of heaven, glorifying the our Lord, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever.
