O venerable and most blessed our father, Feraponte! We are given to you to pray for us, and in return, for, standing before the throne of the Lord, you always show your love for us by your unceasing intercessions for us. But when we, who multiply our sins every hour, have made ourselves worthy of your utter abhorrence, for this reason we beseech you in repentance, falling down with tears: do not change your mercy to us in anger for our wickedness and defilement: show us your mercy to the end, and purify those who sin us with your prayers, raise us up to repentance, strengthen us for good works, keep them in Orthodoxy and in every holy place. Grant us to abide in peace, quiet, and brotherly love; grant us times of peace and abundance of the fruits of the earth; deliver us from fire and drowning, and from fierce diseases and deadly plagues. Send good success to those who work hard, a smooth path for those who travel, a quiet haven for those who swim in the sea, a release for those who are captured, and help and intercession for those who are strong. May we always sing thanks through your love to the Lord Jesus Christ, who glorified you, to Whom all glory and honor belong, together with His beginningless Father and with His all-holy and life-giving Spirit, to the ages of ages. Amen.
